New Democrat Leader Andrea Horwath Wants to Hold Liberals Accountable
THUNDER BAY – New Democratic Party Leader Andrea Horwath is in Thunder Bay today. Horwath is addressing the Northern Council of the party.
Speaking at the Airlane Sunday morning to the NDP Northern Caucus, the New Democrat leader spoke of the importance of the party gaining traction with Northern Ontario. While not talking about going into an election in a hurry, Horwath said she is willing to wait for the legislation to pass that would put forward an integrity commissioner in Ontario.
The New Democrats are working, Horwath said to push through the items that they got the Liberal government to agree to in the budget.
