THUNDER BAY – Crime – Thunder Bay Police have announced success in the arrest of a suspect sought by police in a Canada Wide Warrant. “A Thunder Bay man, who was the subject of an arrest warrant and an August 2, 2013 media release, has surrendered to police,” according to a statement issued this morning by TBPS.
Arthur Joseph Lyons contacted the Thunder Bay Police Service through a third party just after 15:30EDT on Monday.
Lyons was arrested without incident in the city’s south side a short time later. The sixty-two-year-old, Arthur Joseph Lyons is charged with Sexual Assault, Sexual Interference and Breach of Probation. The charges stem from an investigation into an alleged incident involving a child victim. The investigation began on July 25, 2013.
Lyons will appear in court via video.
