THUNDER BAY – Change in Thunder Bay is coming, you can see it, feel it and taste it. It is positive change that comes from the deeds, words, images, and videos. It is from the films, the music and the enthusiasm of youth and the young at heart. This is an amazing time, a time of change and excitement. Embrace it Thunder Bay.

One of the many people who are bringing forward positive change is Shy-Anne Hovorka.

This talented musician, through both her deeds, and her actions is helping to send a message that needs to be heard.

With a zest for life that you can feel from her music, Shy-Anne shares her dream with her audience, both online, and in person.

From her bio on APTN: “Shy-Anne has also incorporated her musical interests and her Aboriginal background into her teaching profession. She has a Bachelor of Education degree and teaches both Music and Ojibwe in Red Lake, Ontario. Shy-Anne’s love of music and commitment to develop her own talent, and her desire to share her passion with others, continue to direct her path in life”.

Last night at the Paramount in Thunder Bay, Shy-Anne was performing to a very enthusiastic crowd in support of two causes, Friends of Mabureh and schizophrenia.

Bassie Karbo from Friends of Mabureh shares, “You just proved how wonderful you are in trying to make a difference in Africa. Thanks for your amazing time and talent in support of Friends of Mabureh school building project. I enjoyed every part of that show. You are the star that the world needs”.
