THUNDER BAY – Thunder Bay Police are reporting that a ninety year old city man was allegedly threatened by a pair of Aboriginal males. The incident happened on Brodie Street in Thunder Bay South. Police report that mane was assaulted by a pair of men in their twenties, on Saturday as he was walking along the street.
Police report that the two alleged suspect were threatening the senior citizen, and that they were making gestures that implied the threat that they would be hitting the intended victim.
Two Males Sought for Assault on Senior
Fortunately, an eighteen year old passerby was able to intervene.
The two assault suspects fled from the scene of the incident. They were on foot.
Police conducted a search of the area and were, unfortunately unsuccessful in locating the two males.
Police report that both suspects are described as Aboriginal males. The stand about 5-foot-10 in height. The first suspect sought by police is described as having a medium build, black hair and was wearing a black tee-shirt with black jeans and blood on his face. The second suspect has a larger build has his hair in a black brush cut. He was reported to be wearing a black tee-shirt and blue jeans.

The past twenty-four hours have seen ten assaults, that includes the incident on Brodie Street. There was an assault on the 500 Block of Victoria Avenue at 06:12:46 PMEDT on June 30th. There was also an assault recorded at 02:29:28 AMEDT on July 1 on the 100 Block of May Street.
At 03:07:03 AMEDT on July 1st police responded to an assault call at Bay and Summit.
A weapons offence was reported in the 400 Block of George Street. That incident happened at 06:52:13 PMEDT.
There were twenty eight quality of life calls that included 19 liquor offences.
