A few blocks earlier, the occupants of the vehicle had attempted to hit a couple walking along May Street.

One of the intended targets commented that she had just arrived in Thunder Bay from Toronto. “I had heard about things like this in Thunder Bay, but I couldn’t believe it until I got here and have seen it”.

“We were just sitting in the park, we weren’t drinking or anything”. When asked if they would contact police over the incident, the group said that they would not do so, figuring nothing could come of it.

The intended victims commented that there are many people at Shelter House on George Street who have also been victims of egging recently.

People can submit an anonymous tip if they know the individuals involved through the Crime Stoppers website: https://www.tipsubmit.com/WebTips.aspx?AgencyID=273
