Thunder Bay PoliceTHUNDER BAY – Rain and Crime do not mix in Thunder Bay. Over the past twenty four hours, Thunder Bay Police were called out for 42 calls for service.

There were 17 quality of life calls, that included 9 alcohol related calls. 

Police Blotter Loads with Assaults and Alcohol

Alcohol related calls were almost topped however by assaults in the past twenty four hours. There were eight assaults reported in the city as well.

One of the assaults was in the 400 block of George Street and was responded to by police at 01:31EDT Sunday morning.

AT 03:08EDT Police responded to another assault call in the 300 block of Dacre Street.

At 12:52EDT another assault was responded to on Strand Avenue.

There were another pair of assaults on Mountaindale Road, and Gore Street. 

Police were also kept busy with seven calls for Disorder.
