THUNDER BAY – A partnership between Thunder Bay Transit and tbaytel has reaped rewards. The dynamic duo received the Canadian Urban Transit Association Corporate Leadership for the campaign that put Nextbus on tbaytel television.
The winners of the 2013 Canadian Urban Transit Association Corporate Leadership Awards, one of Canada’s most recognized awards competitions honoring excellence in public transit, were announced last week at the CUTA Annual Conference in St. John’s Newfoundland.
The awards honour the best and most innovative transit achievements in each of the following categories:
Innovation – Recognizes transit innovations that break with conventional processes and extend beyond marginal improvements in products and services.
Marketing and Communications – Acknowledges exceptional development and implementation of marketing and communications initiatives pertaining to advertising, internal and external corporate communications and public relations.
Safety and Security – Honours transit organizations for their commitment to enhancing the safety and security of transit employees and/or customers through the development and implementation of effective safety and/or security programs.
