Sault Ste Marie PoliceSAULT STE MARIE – Crimebeat – Sault Ste Marie Police report that a  young offender turned himself in to city police at 6:20pm after failing to appear in court this morning. The accused has a new court date of April 16th.

There was a break and enter reported in the 400 block of Shannon Road. Entry was gained to the residence by forcing open a back door. It is believed that  jewellery was taken.

There was also a break-in reported in the 600 block of North Street. It is not known how entry was gained to the house.

Electronic items including a Blackberry Playbook and a laptop computer were taken. Also an unknown amount of jewellery was taken.
