SIJHL - Minnesota WildernessTHUNDER BAY – Sports – The SIJHL Minnesota Wilderness are dominating. After a three game sweep of the Thunder Bay North Stars on the weekend, the Wilderness have continued to advance.

 The latest Canadian Junior Hockey League Top 20 rankings released Monday have the Minnesota Wilderness in second place. The Wilderness are continuing to represent the Superior International Junior Hockey League with distinction.

In the weekly listing provided by the CJHL, in conjunction with NHL Central Scouting, the SIJHL Minnesota Wilderness are maintaining their hold as the No. 2 ranked club across the entire CJHL.

The Wilderness have already claimed their third straight regular season title. The Wilderness are an solid 43-3-0-1 on the season. They have not lost in regulation play since Oct. 24.

They are stellar 29-0-0-1 since that setback in boasting the best record in all of Junior A hockey in that time frame.

There was no change once again among the other top three clubs in the CJHL rankings again this week. The Brooks Bandits of Alberta No. 1. The 2013 Royal Bank Cup host Summerside Western Capitals (MHL) return as the No. 3 squad overall.
