THUNDER BAY – Business – Research in Motion (RIM) will release their new Blackberry 10 to the public on Wednesday.
RIM will broadcast the launch event for the BlackBerry® 10 on January 30th, 2013. The event will happen simultaneously in New York, Toronto, London, Paris, Dubai, Johannesburg, Jakarta and Delhi.
Wednesday will mark the official launch of its new platform – BlackBerry 10, as well as the unveiling of the first two BlackBerry 10 smartphones. Details on the smartphones and their availability will be announced at the event.
A live webcast will be held beginning at 10 am ET.
Many experts are suggesting that the Blackberry 10 and the new operating system that Research in Motion is developing are going to be the make or break release for the company.
However investor anticipation and consumer excitement is likely to boost the company’s fortunes over the coming days.
