THUNDER BAY – The Thunder Bay Chill U14 Boys will compete in the 2013 Ontario Indoor Cup Championship this upcoming weekend (Jan 26-27). The games will take place at the Ontario Soccer Centre in Vaughan, Ontario. Group games will be played Saturday during the day, with semi-finals & Final on Sunday.
Last year the team was a finalist and returned home with silver.
“Our goal this year is to come home with gold”, states head coach Saverio Lento.
Lento feels that the team is stronger and has more experience than last year. The team has a great mix of players.
Defensively the team will be led by Devon Hoier and Alex Pike who have been with the Chill program since they were toddlers. As well the speed up front from Matthew Pawlicki and recent provincial player Anthony Valente will bring relentless attack offensively.
