Thunder Bay’s first annual Vegan Iron Chef Competition will take place at Confederation College @ 2:00pm Jan 19, 2013.

Want to be an Iron Chef? Please join us in our 1st annual Thunder Bay Iron Chef Competition! In a live take-off of the TV show Iron Chef, VEG Thunder Bay, in partnership with Confederation College Culinary Management Program will present the following challenge: four opposing teams of two in the ’amateur’ category, and four opposing individual contestants in the ’professional’ category will have two hours to create a delicious, vegan entree for a panel of four judges. Each team/contestant will be accompanied by a student sous-chef.
