Thunder Bay Police apprehend suspect after knife-wielding robbery on Fort William Road

THUNDER BAY – NEWS – A robbery investigation by the Thunder Bay Police Service has led to the arrest of a suspect in connection with a knife-wielding theft at a commercial establishment on Fort William Road.

Primary Response officers responded to the incident on Friday, February 7, after reports of a suspect stealing merchandise while brandishing a knife. The suspect fled before police arrived.

The Break, Enter and Robbery (BEAR) Unit took over the investigation, identifying a suspect through continued police work. On the afternoon of Wednesday, February 12, officers located and arrested the individual.

Suspect Identified and Charged

Nicholas MORRIS, 38, has been charged with:

  • Robbery
  • Breach of Probation

The accused appeared in court on Thursday, February 13, and was remanded into custody pending a future court appearance.
