iPhone Users Can Now Create, Share, and Manage Invitations with Ease

Apple launches Apple Invites, a new iPhone app for event planning with RSVPs, Shared Albums, and Apple Music

TORONTO, ON – Apple has launched Apple Invites, a new app designed to help iPhone users create and share custom event invitations. Available now on the App Store and via the web at icloud.com/ca/invites, the app allows users to send invites, track RSVPs, and collaborate with friends through Shared Albums and Apple Music playlists.

The app is available to iCloud+ subscribers, but anyone—regardless of whether they own an Apple device—can RSVP to invitations.

A Seamless Event Planning Experience

With Apple Invites, users can personalize their event invitations by selecting images from their photo library or using Apple’s curated backgrounds. Apple Maps and Weather integrations provide guests with directions and forecasts for the event date.

Once the event is set, guests can contribute photos and videos to a Shared Album, keeping memories alive long after the event ends. Apple Music subscribers can also create collaborative event playlists for a more immersive experience.

Enhanced Features with Apple Intelligence

Apple is integrating AI-powered tools into Apple Invites, allowing users to generate custom event images via Image Playground and refine invitation wording with Writing Tools. These features help users create visually stunning and engaging invitations with minimal effort.

Host and Guest Controls for Easy Management

Hosts have full control over guest lists, event details, and RSVPs. Invitations can be shared via link, and guests can RSVP via the app or web, even without an Apple account. Privacy settings ensure that attendees control their visibility, with the option to leave or report an event at any time.

iCloud+ Exclusive Features

iCloud+ subscribers gain access to additional premium features, including:

  • Expanded storage for event photos and videos
  • Private Relay for secure web browsing
  • Hide My Email for anonymous RSVP responses
  • HomeKit Secure Video for home event security
  • Custom email domains for a personalized Apple experience
  • Family Sharing with up to five members

Availability

Apple Invites is available now as a free download on the App Store for iPhone models running iOS 18 or later. The app can also be accessed via icloud.com/ca/invites.
