THUNDER BAY – WEATHER – A special weather statement has been issued for the following areas:

  • Armstrong
  • Auden
  • Wabakimi Park

What to Expect:

  • Snowfall amounts may exceed 10 cm.
  • Reduced visibility due to heavy snow and local blowing snow.

Snow is expected to begin Sunday night and end Monday morning.

Rain is moving into parts of Northwestern Ontario today and is expected to transition to snow late Sunday night as temperatures drop. There is some uncertainty about how much snow will accumulate, as this depends on how quickly the changeover from rain to snow occurs.

Areas north of Armstrong and Nakina are most likely to see snowfall amounts exceeding 10 cm.
