Thunder Bay OPP Seeks Public’s Help in Hit-and-Run Investigation

THUNDER BAY – On the morning of October 11th, 2024, at approximately 7:45 a.m., officers from the Thunder Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a hit-and-run collision at the intersection of Highway 11-17 and the Harbour Expressway in Thunder Bay.

According to reports, a vehicle was struck three times by a second vehicle before the suspect drove away from the scene. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, but the Thunder Bay OPP is now seeking the public’s assistance in locating the suspect and the vehicle involved in the incident.

Description of Suspect Vehicle:

  • Make/Model: Grey Chevrolet High-Country
  • Last Seen: The vehicle was last observed heading toward Balmoral Street, where it turned right in the direction of Westfort, within Thunder Bay.

The OPP is asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who has information that could help locate the suspect or the vehicle to come forward.
