Chief JP Lesveque – Police Services Act matters involving Inspector Dan Taddeo have been resolved

NNLCRIMEbeatTHUNDER BAY – Crimebeat – Police Services Act matters involving Inspector Dan Taddeo have been resolved through an informal process.

Inspector Taddeo had been charged in February 2011 with two counts of Misconduct under the Police Services Act relative to the supervision of a Constable Toni Grann. The charges resulted from a Police Services Act investigation which was conducted by the Toronto Police Service Professional Standards Unit at the request of then Chief Herman. Inspector Taddeo had been suspended since January 28, 2011.

Inspector Taddeo’s suspension has been rescinded as of July 10, 2012. Since this matter has been resolved by the Chief of Police, the particulars of this process are private and can not be disclosed.
