Extended Heat Warning for Northwestern Ontario

A heat warning is in effect for Vermilion Bay, Dryden, Wabigoon, and Eagle Lake. A hot airmass has settled over northwestern Ontario, bringing daytime highs near 30°C with humidex values reaching 36°C. Nighttime temperatures will offer little relief, remaining near 19°C. A cooler airmass is anticipated to arrive by Sunday or Monday.
