Investigation Underway After Devastating Blaze Strikes Community Healthcare Facility
The Cat Lake First Nation community is reeling from a significant loss after a fire ravaged the local nursing station on the evening of March 2nd. Nishnawbe Aski Police Service officers were called to the scene shortly before 9:30 p.m. to address the emergency.
Upon arrival, first responders were met with a distressing sight as smoke billowed and flames visibly engulfed the healthcare facility, which has been a cornerstone of community wellness.
