Ongoing storm sewer work keeps Algoma Street closed
December 7, 2023 – North Algoma Street will be closed between St. George Avenue and Dawson Street starting this afternoon due to additional work required for the storm sewer repair located near the intersection of north Algoma Street and Dawson Street.
North and South bound traffic flow on Algoma will be detoured to St. George Avenue and Dawson Street. Pedestrians and motorists can expect delays in this area, and are encouraged use caution and reduce speeds in the detoured area.
The duration of this road closure is expected to last until Tuesday, December 12.
