Thunder Bay Man Charged with Aggravated Assault After Late-Night Altercation

THUNDER BAY – NEWS – On December 4, 2023, Thunder Bay police responded to an assault in progress near Waterloo Street & Victoria Avenue. Upon arrival, officers found a 24-year-old male requiring medical attention. He was promptly transported to Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre by EMS.

Subsequently, a 25-year-old Thunder Bay resident, Adam WHITEHEAD, was taken into custody nearby. He now faces a charge of Aggravated Assault. Whitehead appeared in court following his arrest and has been remanded into custody. Aggravated assault is a grave criminal offence in Canada and can result in severe penalties upon conviction.
