Thunder Bay – NEWS – Thunder Bay Police are treating a sudden death as a homicide after a deceased male was discovered in a south side home Saturday afternoon.
Thunder Bay Police Service officers with the Primary Response Branch were originally dispatched to a residential address in the 300 block of Ogden Street at about 1:50 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 15, following reports that a deceased male was located.
Firefighters with Thunder Bay Fire Rescue and paramedics with Superior North EMS were also dispatched, but later cancelled when the male was located and confirmed deceased.
Members of the Thunder Bay Police Service’s Major Crime and Forensic Identification Units became involved in the ongoing investigation.
The death is now being treated as a homicide investigation.
A police presence remains in the area. The investigation remains ongoing.
