Across the Northeast Region, the prevailing wildland fire hazard values span from low to moderate. An exception is noted in a specific area with high fire hazard value, stretching from Kapuskasing northward to the Agwasuk River.

When waterbombers are operating near water bodies, ensure you maintain a safe distance by moving close to the shore. Waterbombers refrain from scooping water from lakes or rivers if encroaching watercraft pose a safety risk.

Similarly, flying drones around forest fires is hazardous and unlawful. Such actions can jeopardize the lives of pilots, firefighters, and emergency personnel.
