THUNDER BAY – NEWS – Thunder Bay has its seventh homicide.
Thunder Bay Police Service are currently investigating a homicide that occurred in the area of Miles Street East.
TBPS state that on Friday June 24, 2022, just after 2:45 am, officers with the Primary Response Unit responded to a weapons call at a residence in the 900 block of Miles Street East.
A deceased adult male was located at this residence.
As a result, Joseph HUBBARD, 24, of Thunder Bay, was arrested at the scene by the responding officers.
Hubbard is now charged with Second-Degree Murder and is expected to appear in bail court today – June 24, 2022.
The identity of the deceased male is not being released pending next of kin notification.
Members of the Major Crimes and Forensic Identification Units are now involved in the ongoing investigation.
A post-mortem examination will be scheduled.
The investigation remains ongoing.
