THUNDER BAY – WEATHER – Heading into a June Weekend! There are no weather alerts or warnings in the region, and in Manitoba and Saskatchewan.

On Sunday get set in Thunder Bay to get down to the waterfront from 10:00 am to 11:00 pm to see the cruise ship Ocean Navigator in port.

Thunder Bay

At 06:00 am it is +8 in Thunder Bay as we head to a high of +26. There will be a 30 per cent potential for rain this afternoon. Winds while very calm this morning, will be 20 gusting to 40 km/h by later this morning.

The UV Index will be 7 or high.

Skies will be partly cloudy with a continued 30 per cent potential for rain this evening. Winds will be calmer, at 20 km/h. Overnight low will be +7.

Fort Frances

It is +4 in Fort Frances heading to a high of +25. Skies will be clear today, so make sure you slather on the sunscreen before heading out.

UV Index will be 7 or High.

There will be a few clouds this evening, with increased cloudiness early Saturday morning. The overnight low will be +10.

Dryden and Vermilion Bay

It is +9 in Dryden at the airport this morning. Skies will be clear today, with a high of +22. Winds will become northerly at 20 km/h later this morning.

The UV Index will be 7 or high.

Tonight will be clear with an overnight low of +9.

Sandy Lake

It is +6 at 05:00 am this fine Friday in Sandy Lake. The high for the day will be +20. It will be clear this morning with increased clouds by early in the afternoon.

Winds will pick up from the calm 8 km/h they are at this hour, to 20 gusting to 40 km/h from the north by later this morning.

The UV index will be 6 or high.

There will be clouds for Friday night. Winds will calm down to light by this evening. The overnight low will be +6.
