THUNDER BAY – WEATHER – There are no weather alerts or warnings across the region today. It is the 78th Anniversary of the D-Day invasion of France in World War 2.

Thunder Bay

It is +10 in Thunder Bay this morning heading to a high of +19. There is very light rain falling this morning under overcast skies. The weather service says there will be a 40 per cent potential for precipitation today. Winds will be from the Northwest at 20 gusting up to 40 km/h.

The UV Index will be 5 or moderate.

Tonight will be partly cloudy with skies clearing near midnight. Winds will drop to light early this evening. The low overnight will be +5.

Fort Frances

It is +5 headed to a daytime high of 19 for FORT FRANCES. There will be a 60 per cent chance of rain this morning. Winds will pick up to 20 km/h from the north by early this afternoon.

The UV Index will be 7 or high.

Tonight will see skies clear by midnight with an overnight low of 7.

Dryden and Vermilion Bay

It is +7 at the Dryden Airport this morning. Monday will see a mix of sun and cloud with a 30 per cent possibility of rain showers. Winds will be from the northeast at 20 km/h this morning.

The UV Index will be 7 or high.

Tonight will see partly cloudy skies along with a 30 per cent possibility of rain. The low overnight will be 6.

Marten Falls

It is +6 with fog in Marten Falls this morning. The high for Monday will be +20. Skies will be mainly cloudy and there is a 60 per cent chance of rain showers. This afternoon and into the evening there will be a risk of a thunderstorm.

The low overnight will be +6.
