Ontario Liberal leader Steven Del Duca will step down as leader of the Party.

Speaking before his supporters at his campaign headquarters, Del Duca who went down to defeat to Micheal Tibollo in Vaughn-Woodbridge says he is proud of the efforts of his Liberal team.

In Thunder Bay, both Liberal candidates have gone to third place finishes.

The Liberals gained one seat and saw their vote increase by 4.2 per cent in the campaign.
