Open house on the Golf Links Road / Junot Avenue Corridor – January 24 2012

THUNDER BAY – As the City of Thunder Bay seeks to evolve, one of the areas being worked on is the Golf Links Road – Junot Avenue corridor. The City has retained the services of IBI Group and a team of sub consultants to prepare a land use planning strategy for the widening of the Golf Links Road /Junot Avenue corridor, and assist the City in the development of an integrated strategy for the advancement of Renew Thunder Bay.

“Everyone with an interest in the widening of Golf Links Road and Junot Avenue and the development of lands along its length are invited and encouraged to attend,” said Mark Smith, General Manager of Development Services.

The purpose of the Open House is to provide an overview of the land use planning strategy, discuss work undertaken to-date, present preliminary findings/recommendations, and to receive input.

Walk-through exhibits will be on display throughout the evening, and the study team will be available to answer questions and receive feedback.
