KENORA – NEWS – UPDATE – The Kenora Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police advise of the following Road Closure HAS ENDED – ROAD NOW OPEN:
Highway:17A – bypass
Location: Airport Road and Hwy 671
Brief Description of Event: Collision with debris to be removed
Detour (if available): Airport Road – detour marked
Estimated duration of Road Advisory: 4 hours

There is a vehicle Fire on HWY 17A resulting in a closure of both Directions between AIRPORT RD (S) – FORMER HWY 659 and JONES RD (S).
Hwy 17A – Kenora, between Airport Rd. and Jones Rd. the highway is fully closed in both directions due to a vehicle fire.
Traffic control is in place and a detour has been marked out on scene.
Please use extreme caution in the area.
