Thunder Bay – COVID-19 – NDP Leader Andrea Horwath says the decisions being made by Ontario Premier Ford are leaving Ontarians behind.

She says the Ford Government isn’t spending the money to keep kids safe.

There have been twenty deaths at the Southbridge Roseview Long-Term Care facility.

Horwath says it is heartbreaking to hear what is happening.

The NDP leader in an press conference is calling for a new Minister for Long Term Care.

“Ford sat on his duff,” says Horwath.

Horwath says all summer long there is so much that could have been done, and was not done.

“It is horrifying, I don’t know how he lives with himself”, says Horwath.
