January 4, 2021 – Thunder Bay District Health Unit Reports Six New COVID-19 Cases

Thunder Bay – COVID-19 – Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU) is reporting 6 (six) new COVID-19 cases in residents in the TBDHU Region.

The total number of active cases is 63. This is up slightly from yesterday.

There is one new case at the Southbridge Roseview Long-Term Care facility. On January 4, 2021 there are 10 active resident cases and 4 active staff cases at the facility. There have been 19 people die as a result of the virus.

Four of the new cases are from close contact, and one is pending.

There is one person hospitalized.
