Thunder Bay Police Service Major Crimes Unit Investigating Serious Assault on James Street

THUNDER BAY – NEWS – The Thunder Bay Police Service is looking for help from the public in their investigation of a major case. The Major Crimes Unit is investigating a serious assault that happened in the 700 block of James Street just after 11 am EDT this morning.

Thunder Bay Police Service officers were dispatched to a residential address in the 700 block of James Street just after 11 am on Thursday, June 11, 2020, after learning an assault took place there earlier that morning.

Police have since identified a male victim, who is now at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre for further assessment and treatment of his injuries. The extent of those injuries is unknown at this time, but are believed to be serious.
