THUNDER BAY – Thunder Bay Police Service has issued a Community Safety Advisory about an offender who now resides in the city.
This advisory follows a careful review of the offender as it relates to issues of public safety.
31-year-old Alan Cory ESQUEGA has been released following a prison term that resulted from a conviction for multiple charges including Aggravated Sexual Assault relating to a 2007 incident here in Thunder Bay.
ESQUEGA will be residing in the Cummings Street area.
ESQUEGA must comply with a number of conditions including being in his residence between 10:00 pm to 7:00 am
He is also required to report to the Thunder Bay Police Service on a regular basis.
This information is being issued to the public as a precautionary measure.
Members of the public are reminded that although Alan Cory ESQUEGA does present a safety risk, his rights are guaranteed under the Charter of Rights and Freedoms. As such, the Thunder Bay Police Service will act to protect these rights if they are infringed.
