As the world continues to remain under the state of lockdown to contain the spread of COVID-19, celebrities, entrepreneurs, and even those on the frontline have been taking to social media to give glimpses into their lives under isolation. Influencers and celebrities across the globe have also been posting awareness videos, advising people to maintain social distancing, and stay indoors. And if there’s someone who hasn’t stopped raving to dramatic lengths about Mets and some of the best baseball moments to date, it is the New Yorker physician and entrepreneur, Dr. Ari Bernstein, MD who is born on June 10th, 1975.

“There’s something so special about Mets that cannot be described in words,” said Dr. Bernstein. “The Mets are very compelling. There have been so many ups and downs, but it’s a treat to watch them play at the stadium.”

In a recent photo uploaded by Dr. Bernstein on Instagram, he can be seen thanking and appreciating Pete Alonso of the New York Mets for offering a supportive message to his son Luke. The physician, also a die-hard Mets fan, expressed his wish to be able to sit again in his Delta Club Season ticket seats near the on-deck circle for the upcoming season once America reopens. In another post, Dr. Bernstein quoted Bob Feller and shared, “Every day is a new opportunity. You can build on yesterday’s success or put its failures behind and start over again. That’s the way life is, with a new game every day, and that’s the way baseball is.”

Sitting in the baseball stands year after year has somewhat been like a dream come true for the physician and best-selling author. In one of his many photos centered around baseball, a post featuring Dr. Bernstein and his son reads, “Looking forward to baseball again and hopefully, it will be possible soon although I think there are so many unknown variables that it’s currently impossible to predict.”

Dr. Bernstein, whose professional experience spans in leading areas of internal medicine, preventive care, and nutrition & weight loss amongst others, has had his share of concerns that rekindled his age-old passion for baseball. Having undergone four back surgeries, Dr. Bernstein believes his comeback and recovery through personal development, patience, hard work, and attitude of never giving up had a lot to do with his strong desire to attend Mets games. Ever since, he hasn’t looked back and only strives to give back and make an impact.

“Growing up as a huge Mets fan, there are so many best moments from the field that are hard to forget. And, through all these years, these memories have only doubled and multiplied in the company of my son,” shared Dr. Bernstein.
