THUNDER BAY – In March 2019, and before the pandemic City Council approved a review to improve understanding of the programs and services currently provided by the City and provide information that will allow Council and administration to make informed strategic choices regarding those programs and services.
The objective is to help City Council achieve its goals and determine how the Corporation can improve the services that matter most to Thunder Bay residents, both now and into the future.
Phase One of the project was completed in November which led to the creation of the Phase 1 Program and Services Interim Report where Grant Thornton recommended specific service areas for further analysis. Phase Two of the project focuses on these specific service areas and continues so that we are in a position to make efficiency and effectiveness improvements to programs and services when the emergency is resolved.
The purpose of this public survey is to gather anonymous feedback from Thunder Bay residents and use the information gathered for the development process of the Phase Two Program and Services Delivery Review Report.
An online survey is available until May 11, 4:30 pm, on the City’s website. Residents are encouraged to take part and engage in the process to help determine the following:
- What is working well and what would you like to change regarding specific services?
- What is your opinion on the number of various facilities as well as the value they bring to the City and the impact it has quality of life?
