Water droplets soon to grace Marina ParkTHUNDER BAY – The next piece of art destined for Thunder Bay is in the process of being shipped from Lethbridge. A new sculpture designed by a Lethbridge artist will soon be on display along the waterfront in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Alberta artist Andy Davis unveiled his “Traveller’s Return” artwork on Friday to an audience in the southern Alberta community.

In a media report from Lethbridge, David said, “Thunder Bay is on Lake Superior and they wanted a water droplet theme”. He also noted this is art building local economies. The economic benefit of $100,000 went to the Lethbridge artist.

Thunder Bay artists appear left out once again. There was an uproar from some in the local art community over the announcement of the “Twin Sticks”, another of the art projects that will grace Marina Park.
