THUNDER BAY – The OPP has provided an update to a collision on Highway 61 at Valley Road East.
The OPP states, “On February 22, 2020, at approximately 8:20 pm, officers from the Thunder Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a two-vehicle collision on Highway 61, near Valley Road East.
“The driver of a Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) was northbound on Highway 61 when the driver crossed over the centre-line and collided with a southbound sedan.
“The driver of the SUV and the driver and two passengers from the sedan were transported to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre by ambulance. Two of the occupants of the sedan suffered serious injuries.”
The investigation is continuing.
