THUNDER BAY – ENTERTAINMENT – Tourism Thunder Bay is pleased to announce the Northern Delights Festival will be returning to Thunder Bay for its fifth celebration. Held bi-annually, Northern Delights is Thunder Bay’s fall and winter culinary festival which was first established in 2015 by local Restauranteurs. The Festival, now led by Tourism Thunder Bay, offers the perfect opportunity for patrons to discover delicious cuisine and celebrate the local restaurant and food scene.

“Thunder Bay has a culinary scene that is the envy of many small cities in Canada and it has become a core experience that keeps visitors in the city longer and spending more,” said Tourism Thunder Bay Manager Paul Pepe.  “Northern Delights Cabin Fever encourages regional visitors into the city for date night, hotel guests out of their rooms exploring and residents out of the homes in the cold of winter for a warm selection of affordable delectable curated experiences from places they may not have thought of visiting.”

This season’s festival, titled ‘Cabin Fever’, runs January 26, 2020, to February 8, 2020, and features 14 participating restaurants, many featuring local ingredients, presenting Prix Fixe dinner menus highlighting the best of Thunder Bay’s culinary delights which are priced at $25 and/or $35.
