MORLEY TOWNSHIP – The OPP are investigating a death in a hunting accident.

Shortly before 4:00 p.m. on November 24, 2019, members of the Rainy River District Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) with the assistance of Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry (MNRF) responded to an incident where a man had been fatally injured while hunting.

The male has been identified as Brent SECORD, 18-years-old, of Timmins, Ontario.

Officers from the Rainy River District OPP Detachment, OPP Forensic Identification Services, OPP North West Region Crime Unit under the direction of Detective Inspector Darryl Sigouin of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death.
