THUNDER BAY – POLITICS – Amanda Moddejonge will run as the candidate for the Green Party of Canada in the riding of Thunder Bay-Rainy River!

Moddejonge shares, “I am proud to carry the Green Party banner. We have a balanced and thoughtful platform called Vision Green, available at www.GreenParty.ca. We have a strong, experienced, and dynamic leader in Elizabeth May, who many polls are showing as the only leader with a positive approval rating. As well, national polls are showing the Greens as the strongest alternative for voters who are dismayed with the Conservatives and Liberals. I am also proud to be the Green teammate with former MP Bruce Hyer, who is running in Thunder Bay-Superior North.”

Hyer agrees fully.  “I have known Amanda since the 2015 federal election when as a volunteer, she worked hard and smart on our campaign team. She always works tirelessly for causes she believes in. I hope she joins me and Elizabeth in Parliament to responsibly hold the balance of power in the likely Liberal minority government, keeping Trudeau more honest and on track.”

In a media release from the riding association, “Amanda Moddejonge believes passionately in our region. A former member of the Canadian military, she has worked diligently to complete her new diploma, post-graduate certificate, and Lakehead degree, all with honours.  Already well educated, she wanted to augment her knowledge and skills to be even more beneficial and advantageous to our region of northwestern Ontario.”
