LIBERTY, MISSOURI – The Thunder Bay Chill opened their season with a lopsided win over the Kansas City Brass. The Chill put in six unanswered goals in a 6-1 win at William Jewel College in Liberty, Missouri.
Gustavo Oliviera opened the scoring in the 7th minute and the Chill never looked back. Oliviera and strike partner Brandon Swartzendruber ended the game with two goals and one assist each. Andrew Marinez took on the role of playmaker with two assists and one goal. Coady Andrews scored the loan goal for the Brass.

The Chill will travel to Rochester tomorrow to face the Thunder in a two-game series, with the first game on Saturday, June 5th, 2010 at 8:00 p.m. (EDT), followed by the second game on Sunday, June 6th, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. (EDT). The two games will take place at Rochester Technical Community College.
