THUNDER BAY – WEATHER – As of about 10:00 am the Fog Advisories have lifted. There are still foggy areas, but the weather is clearing.

Environment Canada has issued a fog advisory for Thunder Bay. Also in the advisory is Superior West, and Nipigon and up the Northshore of Lake Superior. This may impact your travel plans

Fog advisory in effect for:

  • City of Thunder Bay
  • Nipigon
  • Superior West

Near zero visibility in fog this morning.

Locally dense fog has developed early this morning near the north shore of Lake Superior. This dense fog will persist for a few hours this morning before lifting.

If travelling, be prepared for areas of near-zero visibility.
