KENORA – Minister Greg Rickford says Ontario is looking for a partner at the federal government level. NetNewsLedger’s James Murray speaking with the Member of Provincial Parliament from Kenora heard that the days of cooperation between the federal and provincial government are missed by Ontario.

Rickford comments that when he was the federal minister, the relationship between Minister Michael Gravelle and him allowed things to get done for Northern Ontario. Now Rickford states, “Ontario is looking for a partner”.

“We could pick up the phone and get things done for the North,” states Rickford.

Minister Rickford spoke with NetNewsLedger in Kenora just after a campaign rally that featured federal Conservative Party Leader Andrew Scheer.
