(THUNDER BAY, ON) – The Thunder Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is once again investigating a string of seasonal camp break-ins in the area surrounding Dog Lake.
On April 13, 2025, officers responded to reports of a break and enter along Bolduc Lake Road, a remote area near the shoreline of Dog Lake. The incident, believed to have occurred sometime over the winter months, involved unauthorized entry into multiple seasonal properties.
Items reported stolen include various personal belongings, outdoor equipment, and notably, a firearm—raising significant public safety concerns.
Police Request Public Assistance
The OPP is urging anyone with information related to these or other property crimes in the Bolduc Lake Road or Dog Lake area to come forward. Even small details could help identify those responsible and recover the stolen property.
