THUNDER BAY, ON – Members of the Thunder Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a total of 289 occurrences over the course of the week from Monday, March 31 to Sunday, April 6, 2025. The calls for service included a mix of traffic-related incidents, community support calls, criminal code offences, and wellness checks.

Online Crime Reporting Encouraged for Minor Incidents
The OPP is reminding residents that they can file non-emergency reports online through the Citizen Self Reporting (CSR) system. Introduced in 2014, this tool offers a convenient and efficient alternative for reporting minor crimes and incidents without the need for an officer to attend.
