OPP Lay Multiple Charges Stemming from Incidents Between 1978 and 1988
THUNDER BAY, ON – A 61-year-old Thunder Bay resident has been arrested and charged following an Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigation into historical sexual assault allegations in Collins First Nation.
Investigation Details
The Thunder Bay Crime Unit launched an inquiry into alleged sexual offenses that occurred between 1978 and 1988. As a result of the investigation, police have arrested and charged George Spade, 61, of Thunder Bay with the following Criminal Code offences:
✅ Gross Indecency
✅ Indecent Assault on a Female
✅ Sexual Assault
✅ Sexual Assault Causing Bodily Harm
