Major Drug and Property Seizure in Greenstone: OPP Urges Public to Report Dealers

Fentanyl and opioids continue to devastate communities—reporting drug activity can save lives

GREENSTONE, ON – A large-scale drug trafficking investigation has led to a major seizure of illicit substances and stolen property in Longlac, underscoring the ongoing fight against dangerous drugs like fentanyl and methamphetamine.

The Greenstone Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), in collaboration with multiple law enforcement agencies, executed four search warrants in the Longlac area, resulting in the seizure of:

  • 190 grams of Methamphetamine
  • 155 grams of Psilocybin mushrooms
  • 10 grams of Fentanyl
  • 14 grams of Cocaine
  • 42 grams of Crack Cocaine
  • Cash: $2,700
  • A stolen 2021 GMC pickup and property valued at approximately $150,000

The estimated street value of the seized drugs exceeds $27,000.

Charges Laid Against Longlac Man

A 49-year-old male from Longlac has been charged with multiple offences, including:

  • Trafficking Methamphetamine, Cocaine, and Opioids
  • Possession of proceeds of crime over $5,000
  • Possession of stolen property over $5,000

He was held for a bail hearing and remains in custody.
