KENORA – POLITICS – The Progressive Conservative’s Third Majority will also include Greg Rickford, who was re-elected for a third term at Queen’s Park.
Speaking to supporters, Rickford said, “My sincere appreciation to the people of Kenora-Rainy River for placing your trust in me for a third time as your Member of Provincial Parliament. Although times are uncertain, our PC mandate to Protect Ontario remains clear. We will continue to ensure that hardworking families in Northwestern Ontario have the economic certainty and opportunities they deserve. To my tremendous group of volunteers, thank you for driving engagement in every corner of the riding.
The journey continues, and we are ready to get back to work.”
Doug Ford and the Progressive Conservatives have a third majority government.
The New Democrats will form the official opposition. The Liberals will have official party status despite Liberal leader Bonnie Crombie losing her bid for a seat in Queen’s Park.
