Thunder Bay Man William HEIDRICK, 32 Faces Cyber Crime Charges including Breach of Probation

THUNDER BAY – NEWS – A months-long investigation by the Thunder Bay Police Service (TBPS) Cyber Crime Unit has resulted in the arrest of a local man facing multiple serious charges related to online offenses.

The investigation began in November 2024 after police received reports of illegal online activity. In December 2024, officers executed a search warrant and seized multiple electronic devices belonging to the suspect.

As a result of their findings, William HEIDRICK, 32, was arrested on Monday, February 24, 2025, and taken into custody.

Charges Against the Accused

Heidrick is now facing multiple charges, including:

  • Distribute Intimate Images Without Consent (4 counts)
  • Identity Fraud (2 counts)
  • Criminal Harassment
  • Breach of Probation (3 counts)
  • Breach of Release Order
  • Accessing Child Pornography
  • Luring a Child
  • Making Sexually Explicit Material Available to a Child

He appeared in court on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, and has been remanded into custody pending a future court date.
