Northern Ontario Weather Report: Deep Freeze and Flurries for Remote Communities

Winter continues to grip Northern Ontario, bringing frigid temperatures, biting wind chills, and occasional flurries. Communities across the region, including Martin Falls, Sachigo Lake, Big Trout Lake (KI), Neskantaga, Fort Severn (Wasaho Cree Nation), Sandy Lake, Summer Beaver, Webequie, Pikangikum, and Attawapiskat, are facing extreme cold over the next three days, with wind chills dropping below -40°C in some areas.
